Invisalign

Smile confidently – with INVISALIGN. The clear alternative to braces.

Invisalign is a brand of orthodontic tooth movement which sequentially allows tooth movement by the wearing of clear “aligners” which are worn at least 22 hours a day and only taken out for eating, drinking and cleaning your teeth. You will wear a new aligner around every 2 weeks, to gradually move the teeth into a new position. They are virtually invisible and people really do not notice the aligners in place.

There will be an initial consultation to discuss your case and what you would like to achieve  from the treatment and the process. During the diagnosis stage, which will be over a few visits, photos, measurements will be taken and some specialised x-rays will be needed and detailed impressions and a bite registration are taken and sent to Invisalign. These are scanned and the treatment is sequenced using this technology and specialised software. Once the Dentist and patient are happy with an end result on a computer generated plan, we accept it and your aligners are made for the entire treatment course. You will be seen each 4 – 8 weeks generally to check everything is tracking and on target.
